I want a nap...damn virus is back...feel like a mack truck ran me over this morning.

and since my neighbor downstairs is having some stuff done on his unit (and the front door is WIDE open---) its nice that is not -30 out.....as I havent finished my indoor insulation project (got the weather stripping up on the door!)....someone get the number of that mack truck and call the M.E......I think he has a pick up at my house today.

thanks....I wish I could kick them and just be done.....made some nice pizza--sun dried tomatoes, roasted red peppers and Stilton cheese....oy!

yeah, I am the one to talk, I like veggies--but just cant seem to make them EVERY day...

got errands to run today (hubby is wfh so I get the car with the nice heated seats)

Yup, and soda. Had to try to stay awake lol

I try to have fruit or yogurt every day. Just to try to stay healthy. Plus portion control is a HUGE help. I have lost 15 pounds just by eating less. Awesome!

yeah when I was in grad school working 2 jobs and taking classes I lost a LOT of weight.....think that was the last time too

(if I just cut back my body adjusts to the less caloric intake....think my body could run on 200 calories a day if it tried hard enough....)

xmas cards are ../............almost done

hubby needs to sign them and then we can seal them up and get them mailed....(MY part is done...I spent last evening signing, addressing, stamping, writing notes, and labeling....).....bleh.

I can remember as a kid my mom did over 200 cards every year (think she still has about 40-50 left on that list)....and we used to have a day we spent doing them with her (one kid got to stamp, one kid did labels, one kid got to use the sponge and close the backs...and one got to put the stickers on the back since the gummy stuff usually didnt seal them--and the one using the sponge used a bit too much water

)....oh well.....my list is significantly smaller than hers (thank whom ever deity to whom you pray)....

lol Nope, still doing my Amazon thing. Have gifts for a fair amount of people. Probably going to do gift cards for the others. Some people are so hard to buy for...

I don't do Christmas cards atm. Though I'm sure once I'm married my fiancee will want to do one. Which is understandable.

Ya, we got engaged about 2 weeks ago. So ya, after 4 and a half years of dating, we finally started moving again lol She just left yesterday to head home for Christmas break though. Kinda weird to be alone on a weekend...

chia pets...never got the darn things to grow

......though chia seeds ARE edible (and I have a drink I get from the organic store than has them --they arent too bad!). I dont think I have any any more (though since I have a TON of stuff in storage--I cant be totally sure of that

well, hubby annoyed me and finally finished the cards (gee, me doing 2 other things is a good time to bother me about that?????

).....so now I can drop them off at the post office.

looks like another good storm headed east (currently somewheres just west of the rockies)....so colorado is supposed to get nuked this time....skiers will be happy though.

well back to the list of stuff to get done.....

Sigh, I'm bored. Fiancee is gone and I don't know what to do. Spending time playing games and watching football.

first skool is out for winter break. second cosy you need to get some exercise. it is a well known fact that a virus attacks bodies in a weakened state and is not cause from temperatures or drafts or wet hair.

third congrats 2 pwnd, i don't know what keeps a relationship together since my parents live on opposite coasts. ??? i will just wish you both well.
finally i have a plane to catch tomorrow, i am heading out west to see dad and his wife for christmas and back here after new years. should be fun.

lol, I know that my virus is not caused by wet hair etc....I have a BAD immune system (read it doesnt like to do its job)...and right now, exercise would put me in the hospital! (a place where I would rather NO be).....need to kick these dang viral infections and keep them away (keep them germy kids FAAAARRR away from me!!)

oy, still need to get that stuff up on my door--last year my gas bill looked more like a mortgage payment! (and the reason for my desire to keep the downstairs door closed)....got all the xmas gifts done with...and the cards are mailed....now to just have a nice calm holiday. (and let my stress go far, far away).....

Finally on break. Celebrated by taking a nap. Now for two weeks off before going back.

Gas is expensive... I try to keep my apartment cool because it is so freaking expensive. I don't want a huge bill. I'll take chilly over a huge bill any day.
